Tokyo-based Alternative Folk band The Danny Smith Project is set to re-release their 2nd album "Heartland Revisited" on September 19th, 2017.

Recorded in April through June 2012, this all-analog recording album is describing their pilgrimage to the world of American traditional music. Starting the trip from Jordan with the track “When I Get Over Jordan”, the band is traveling through France and Ireland, and gets to the “heartland” of American traditional music with the closing track “We Love You Cody”, which sings about the American bison hunter Buffalo Bill.

Says the band’s frontman Dan Torigoe; “It’s been 5 years since the release of our 2nd album only in vinyl format, and now we distribute this record digitally as I feel like I would like everybody to listen to this music. This is the expression of our adoration to American traditional music, and I think we can show you some fantasies of our “trip” to the good ol’ dreamland.”
